The film portrays the story of Artur, a carefree man living day by day, spending his life on gambling and illegal fights, and Weronika, who miraculously escaped from kidnappers involved in the trafficking of women. Their destinies are intertwined by Artur's brother, a spiritual young priest, who, as a result of events, is killed by the kidnappers. Artur decides to avenge him, but he is confronted by Weronika and the growing affection between them. An internal conflict places Artur at a crossroads: revenge or love. What fate awaits Artur and the other characters entangled in the intricacies of today's modern and complex world?
